Love this case. Literally never going back to anything else. Super convenient. Cards will be snug at first but the case quickly breaks in and it gets better with age. Fingerprint reader is deep but I kinda like that. I put my pinky finger over the speaker/ power cord slots on the bottom of the phone and some cases will be sharp and it’s annoying. This one is perfect. I also use a magnet mount for my car and so does my wife. She picked out a case that had a built in wallet feature that she really loves but I had to glue a metal plate to it for dash mount. The fact that magnetic mounts work on this case is awesome! Also the kickstand feature is adjustable and actually usable.

I had this same design for my Pixel 2XL and loved it. I like a chunkier case, and this is that. While I don’t use the card holder often, I do use it with my magnetic phone mount in my car. Because the back is made up of magnetic strips I can put the phone in whatever position on the mount and it hold firm. I have never had it even slip (whereas, with the metal plate you normally have to attach to your phone, my phone will slip and not hold as firm). Also, the flap in the back is useful for holding the phone with while watching your favorite video.

If you are the type that doesn’t need a wallet, typically carry around your debit card and license in your pocket, and like to view movies on your phone while you work, then this is the case for you. I’m really impressed with the protection this case gives when paired with tempered glass. It easily carries 3 cards, the fingerprint reader is easily accessible, and it’s not too thick or too thin. If this case wears out in two years due to excessive use, I’ll likely buy another. As a side note. I typically get fully enclosed phone cases and was looking at the Poetic and Supacase brands, but everything looked too thick and bulky. My last case was a Defender for the GS7

They have improved it over Pixel 2 by changing the way to access cards. Just a small note after some time flip cover seal opens. I guess it is just normal wear & tear.

I’ve used those flip open wallet phone cases but I decided to go sleeker. I have no issues whatsoever reaching the fingerprint nor the thickness. It’s perfect! I can fit Up to 3-4 cards and a bill in the back. It’s a tight squeeze but it carries everything I need. I also love that the back flap can be used as a stand. Very sturdy and well made.

I bought multiple cases before settling on this one since it is the only one that included a slot for cards (this one holds 3) and included a stand as well. The other options that came with a stand, did not have enough place on the back panel to add on one of those adhesive card pockets. Not the slimmest design, but i went for safety and functionality (i dropped / cracked my pixel 2 XL multiple times and the slim/low profile case on it offered very limited protection).

Best wallet case right now, some flaws

This is the most aesthetically pleasing wallet case I could find for the 4A 5g. Pros; It can fit 3 or 4 cards, the cards bend ever so slightly so they are easy to remove and aren’t flush with the case, it’s black, it doesn’t look like China’s try hard plastic rugged dad cases or aliexpress cyber trash, wallet magnets firm and will support the phone indefinitely. Cons; The case is big like a battery case (I suppose it has to be for wallet space but it’s a slight buzzkill), the wallet flap sticks out very slightly on the right side which is really only bothersome while typing like I am, and the fingerprint scanner well is deep. This is because the wallet case protrudes and makes the case thick. I had a few resounding cons, but this being my first wallet case, I really don’t mind it. I’m a 6’ tall man with an average build but think if you’ve got smaller hands, this case might be annoying. The only other case I would currently consider for this phone is from latercase.com. It isn’t a wallet case but it’s made of kevlar and covers the whole camera except the lens holes which are cut out. Sadly saw it after this case but I might get it anyways someday.

This is a very solid case. Exterior is hard plastic with a magnetic cover on the back for wallet access. The cover is pretty sturdy out of the box, I think it should last but it certainly is the weakest point of the case. I’d prefer a plastic or metal one like the VRS Design Damda Glide but this is still acceptable. I think even without the cover the wallet would be fine as the holder is well designed and the cards are easy to take out but not likely to fall out. The lip around the screen is around 2mm so you are less likely to have issues from a face down drop. The case is smooth but oddly grippy. I think it has to do with the chunky feeling of the case. Protective, yet the size is just right to feel like you could drop it and not give AF but still on the chunky side but not overly so where you can’t grip it. The button on the side of the case are well done as well. They have a nice, satisfying snap to them and they feel like they will last a long time. My one real beef with the case is the fingerprint sensor hole takes a little getting used to. Nothing crazy, its just a little deeper than what I’m used to having but it is still perfectly fine. Overall this is an excellent case.
