Case looks and fits well. Ample room around the USB slot for bigger connectors. I can fit 4 non-embossed cards in the case. Kickstand feature works OK but not super stable.

I had this exact case for my Samsung S8, and I used it for three years. By the end of the third year the back cover was beginning to fall apart, though I was pretty rough with my phone, and three years of use was still a lot of time. When I upgraded to the pixel 4a I decided to stick with the same case. The 4a case is slightly thicker, which I like, and I can fit one more card, for a total of four, in the case, though it’s a really tight fit. Recommended for someone who wants a fairly durable case and doesn’t want to carry around a separate wallet.

My boyfriend wanted a case that can hold a couple cards and be used with a magnetic car mount. There’s not many cases for the pixel 4a so I was very happy to find this! It works great! He can fit 3 cards in it and it never falls off the mount, even on bumpy roads. It’s a bit thick like an otter box, but he likes it that way. I only took away 1 star because the plastic could be better quality, it seems a little on the cheap side but is acceptable considering how well the magnetic cover on the back is designed.

Buy it for the wallet, not for the kickstand

The only way to get the kickstand to work is to roll the flap into a triangular tube, at the bottom of the case when the screen is landscape. The triangle also holds it up in portrait mode. You get exactly that one angle, there is no adjustability. The magnets are simply not strong enough to hold it in any other position. Even in that one position, the kickstand is a little unstable, and significantly worse than for example my previous Spigen case with a solid "foot". Maybe the cases for other phones have more contact surface for the magnets to hold, but on a Pixel 4a they just don’t hold the phone as a stand, except as a triangle. I have 3 cards always in the wallet, and that’s great convenience. They’re not very comfortable to get out, but I rarely need to access the cards, I just need them with me. If you need to regularly take a card out, you’re probably better off putting only 1 or 2 cards in. There’s also an empty little nook on the top left if you remove the phone from the case. I’ve been thinking of stashing an emergency use cash bill in there.

I think it serves its purpose, especially for someone like me who doesn’t carry a purse. The back panel fits 3-4 cards, depending on the thickness, so you may have to be choosy. The case is roughly double the size of the phone, so it is slightly bulky, but the design is very streamlined, so it is hard to notice. The phone stand portion is...ok. It works well enoigh I suppose, but isn’t incredibly sturdy.

I feel safe dropping my phone. I don’t use the kick stand to watch videos. I don’t use my phone for that my eyes aren’t that good. I rated the security a 5 even though I don’t know what that is for. Durability perhaps. I think I could throw this phone...ok toss it and the phone would safe
