This is the second one I bought because I tend to fiddle with the flap in the back all the time. It is still cheaper to buy a new one that some fancy case. And yes, it has absorbed the shock of my constant dropping of the phone. Have already recommended to all my friends.

Not super durable, but it does the job.

I like the case because it’s efficient for me to use as I don’t carry a lot of cards in my wallet. The case holds three cards comfortably, and all other cards such as my dental, medical, and insurance is in an actual wallet and I place it in my bag when I need it. The only thing I am not happy is that I dropped my phone once, and where it hit the ground it broke the case (please see picture). I had to use glue to make sure that particular piece would not break off.

We just keep buying these every time we get new iPhones. I cannot recommend it enough! My drivers license, medical card, bank debit card and major credit card are ALWAYS within my reach because my phone is always within my reach. When I order something online, or pay bills (like I do from my phone), I never have to dig in my purse for my credit card. Oh, and it has a little built-in stand so you can prop it up and watch videos! I love this iPhone wallet case! It fully protects your phone if you drop it, too. Only caveat is you have to be extra careful to never lose your phone but that goes without saying. FYI, I’m a real person and nobody paid me or gave me anything free to do this review, so you can trust it among all the questionable reviews out there.

New materials not as durable as previous models

I have had this case for several years in another color. I love how it stored my debit cars, DL, cash and some business cards. The old case had been dropped and bounced multiple times over the years. The worst that happened was a couple of scratches. My phone was always well protected and never harmed. I stopped carrying a purse because everything I needed was in the phone. I bought the new one only because my whole family has black cases and I was always picking up someone else’s phone! This new one is made of a different material. It craved the frame of the case the first time I dropped it. A little gorilla glue put it back together. But from low (2.5-3’) drops it has cracked again. Yes, I am rough on my phone and cases. But this one didn’t last a few days before it cracked. In comparing my old one abs new one, they have definitely gone down in the quality of materials they use. If you are more responsible than me, and don’t drop your phone, this is the case fire you! I key my DL, and either 2 more cards or one card and cash, plus up to three business cards in it. That part is perfect. It fits in my pocket perfectly. And is a bit thick but not too much. If you are just used to your phone, the weight and thickness take a little getting used to. But I used the old one for years. I’m now searching for another with the same function but increased durability.

Car mount magnet compatible!

I like that this case can just plop onto my magnetized phone holder in my car. It does not charge wirelessly through the case, so that is a minor inconvenience, but otherwise it is a very useful and convenient case to have. Update 11/2020 I purchased this in August of 2019, and it has lasted me through the horrors of COVID. I will be replacing the broken case (I dropped it weird) and noticed there is a case where I can use apple pay and not have to struggle through my phone case AND finally benefit from no touch payment.

It seems like a solid phone case and I like the look! Very convenient while watching videos as well. Looks like if you don’t try to force more than three cards into the slot you should be fine. If you need more than three cards then this might not be the case for you. It doesn’t have anything for cash. I don’t usually carry cash so it works for me. I’ll be buying a money clip for the cash that I do want to carry.

The best case of its kind, but be prepared to buy another one

First, let me start by saying this is the 4th version of this case I have owned. That is both a compliment and criticism... let me explain. I first bought this case for my iPhone 8 and loved it. It has completely eliminated my need for a wallet and the stand feature comes into more use than I anticipated. So, I could not be happier with the overall design. That said, the durability needs work. I bought it a second time for my iPhone 8 because the back ’leather’ material was used so much that it was flimsy, but do note that this was after a year and a half of use. After ~1 month of using the second case, I dropped it (from desk height) and the magnets on one side of the card holder came up out of their housing. The adhesive, from what I could infer was the after tearing it down, had worn off and rendered the whole case useless. Thus, I bought a third one. That lasted until I upgraded my phone to the iPhone XS Max. I’ve used the current case for ~1 month with no issues. In the end, I feel like if this case was ~$10 more expensive for a better build quality and materials, it would be perfect.

Excellent and functional product for the price point

I’ve ordered this case for the last two phones I’ve had, and am waiting for the iPhone 11 Pro case to arrive. Let me preface by saying I am ROUGH on my phones. Working in an automotive shop, I’m constantly dropping my phone on the concrete floor. The most important feature I need in a case is drop protection and this one provides that in spades. The credit card slot fits 3 credit cards (one is metal) and my driver’s license and they’re easy to insert and remove quickly. Wireless charging works with this as well. My ONLY issue with this was the seam where the plastic and rubber meet started to separate. Although it could be snapped back together, the problem persisted. I sent an email to Vena and they immediately responded and shipped a replacement without question. Within 4 days the new case was at my door. I’m satisfied with their willingness to stand behind their products. I’ve pre-ordered the new iPhone Pro Max and visited Vena’s website in hopes of finding this case available. It was, and to my surprise there was also a 50% off discount code for all iPhone 11 cases!
