So, let me preface this by saying that I don’t generally write reviews unless I truly believe in a product. I originally bought this case in July of 2019. It is now June 2020 and I’ve had this case almost a year and I still love it! In March this year, due to the pandemic, like most people I started cleaning my phone all the time to prevent potential contamination. The first picture is of damage that occurred while I was taking my phone out of the case. I heard a crack and when I finished pulling the phone out, I noticed that the magnets cracked and were protruding from the case. The second picture was from a couple of weeks ago. I put my hand in my pocket and felt something jagged. When I pulled out my phone, I realized that the rigid part of the phone had cracked, presumably because of the way it was sitting in my pants and them putting pressure on it. Despite these two malfunctions, I STILL LOVE THIS CASE. The space that it offers for cards and the slim profile and weight of it are perfect. The fact that the flap turns into a stand is nice, though I don’t recommend over using it because it will eventually lose some of its rigidity, but it’s a plus regardless especially when you don’t have something to lean it on. But I say again, I STILL LOVE THIS CASE. Vena has one of the best and most proactive warranty replacement programs that I have seen in a product. They stand behind their product and have sent me two replacements. I recommend that they change the material that the rigid portion is made out of, perhaps some rigid silicone or something, but otherwise this is a great case for the money and I give it 5 STARS!!!

This is a fantastic case and wallet. People regularly ask me about it when I flip it open and pull a credit card from the back. I’ve been using these for years now, and my wife has loved hers for over a year. It’ll easily hold an ID and 2 credit cards without flexing, though I keep my health insurance card, drivers license, and 3 cards in mine and the amount of flex is acceptable at about probably 2-3 millimeters; I just have to make sure to insert the cards with the raised lettering to the outside or it flexes significantly more. I have replaced this case twice over the years with the same case, as they do eventually wear. I have knocked my phone off my night stand many times and dropped it countless times, and the case protects the phone just fine. I once dropped it on our hard bathroom tile and the metal piece in at the bottom that attracts the magnet in the cover broke and popped out. The sound was loud and scary sounding; I thought the phone’s glass had cracked, but it hadn’t. The case is still fully functional; I just don’t like that it sticks up slightly at the bottom since the magnet has nothing to connect with for a tight fit and I can feel it loose in my hand. Pros: - I don’t have to carry a separate wallet - The cover can be folded to work as a stand - Low, high, or even on the bottom of the phone if on a stable, level surface - I’ve dropped the phone many times and it’s protected the phone perfectly, though the metal piece in at the bottom end broke and popped out eventually - The magnet that holds the cover closed has never caused a problem with the cards inside, though I have had several hotel cards demagnetize while in my pocket next to it - Not sure if it’s the case or my phone causing it Cons: - I wish they had a model that held more cards without flexing - the flex makes it feel cheaper - I wonder if the metal could be stronger without adding significant weight or cost Ultimately, I plan to continue buying and recommending this case for the foreseeable future. It’s been rock solid as a phone case and as a wallet, and brings lots of compliments. It’s worth the cost of replacing it every couple of years. I had one on my iPhone 7, and it was the first thing I bought after upgrading to the iPhone XR.

I ordered this case after I was pretty disappointed with the previous case I ordered. For $12.99 it feels like it could stand up to the more expensive otterbox or lifeproof cases. I thought maybe the back was some kind of brushed aluminum but for $13 it’s just plastic. Very good fitting belt clip with swivel clip. There is no protection for the front, but I didn’t want a case with that since I run a glass screen protector. Very tight fitting case so the phone is nice and in there. This certainly isn’t a low profile case, but it isn’t bulky either. All the openings for charging and buttons for volume and such all line up very nice. Tough tactical look. Would buy again....only wish that phones would integrate a good metal plate for magnetic mounting. I had to settle for buying a stick on plate which is fine, but I wish more manufacturers would make this a standard thing.

Bought for an iPhone XR. Works good. Haven’t had any times where I needed the protection yet. Fits just fine over the phone. The Belkin glass screen protector sold on Apple’s website for the iPhone XR does not present a problem for this case. The case fits over the phone and glass screen protector just fine. I don’t use the credit card holder for credit cards, just a credit card sized card that list my personal information in case the phone gets lost. The case is supposed to let you angle the phone in an upright position, but it is hard to do for me and when I get it, it works good for watching videos. The case is lightweight. The iPhone XR camera lens is recessed into the case, so the camera is well protected, even if you lay it on a thin layer of water, for example, if you lay the phone in the case on a table that has some water on it from a spilt water glass, your camera will be protected up to a point. The case looks great to me and it does make the iPhone XR bulky looking. The case completely blocks the color of the phone body. The only give away of what color the iPhone is, is the the recessed camera cutout. All buttons work as expected and the tactile feel is great. The back of the case has a nice leather look to it. The copper trim looks like real copper. The black rubber part of the case looks like it was precision cut and the cutouts for the lightning connectors and speaker holes look very nice, meaning they are precisely cut for the iPhone XR. The case is much more impressive in person than the Amazon photos would have you believe. All in all a great case. The only thing I can’t say is, how well it protects the phone from bumps and falls. I’m not going to test my phone of course, but the way it looks and how it feels, it seems like it would protect great, but I can’t say anything about it’s real world performance in protection. Any phone will get damaged regardless of the case, if it bumps or drops from too high a height. Even a drop of 2 feet onto concrete or asphalt or hard like surface will damage most glass phones, so don’t expect a miracle from a case unless it’s completely encased including the screen and water, dust proof with shock absorbers, suck a case would be enormous of course in order to allow the shock absorbers enough travel length. This case works for me. Give it a try. You can always send it back.

I read reviews on great many iPhone XS Max cases before settling for this case. The packaging was excellent and professional. The case is a tank. It looks industrial and it adds heft to the device, as expected. I am not using the holster, so I cannot comment on it. The sides are textured to create a non-slip grip. All buttons work well with the case on. Note that there is no flap covering the charging port at the bottom. So it is easy to charge the device. The phone sits recessed in the case. It takes some effort to reach the silence button, nothing you could not accomplish if you stick your pinky in there if you have thick fingers. I used an XDesign glass screen protector with this case and it seems to be doing ok. If you want solid protection for your expensive iPhone XS Max, you will not go wrong with this product. Kudos to the company that has built a solid product. I am not rating water resistance because this is not advertised as a watertight case.

Overall quality case. It has a great feel to it with the leather in the back. I just bought one for a friend and recommend it all the time. It can hold 4 cards in it. More if you just put it in the back and cover it with the leather flap. I love putting the back cover into a triangle for anything. Conference calls, watching movies on plane rides. The only con is the case is coming apart a little on the bottom right corner after a few months of use. I don’t need a wallet anymore. When I have cash I can put it in the back as well. Pros: 1. No more wallet 2. Feels solid 3. Holds in the hand better than any other wallet cases I’ve tried. Good for phone calls and all holding. 4. Cover goes over the front, to protect screen from any fall or having it on the face. 5. The stand works amazing. Holds up the phone and can be used for anything you need. IE Movies, Conference calls. Cons: 1. Not extremely durable, as it is coming a part a little on the bottom with regular use, but still works great. 2. It does add weight to the phone. 3. Adds bulk, but not too much.

Only first day but very happy
Received my case today and it seems really nice as far as quality and functionality maybe even a little better than I had planned. It's much lighter than my previous wallet case that I had for the XR and slimmer as well. Would gladly buy again even without their new customer discount.

I absolutely love this case! I got the pink/black case, and here are my positive feedbacks: 1. color: The picture on Amazon does not capture how nice it looks! The flap is made of a leather-like material, and has a darker color (purple) than the rest of the pink surrounding the back of the case. The rosy pink and purple compliment each other very well. 2. shock proof? I dropped my phone from waist high when I was walking (ugh ofc I did...), and the case protected it! I have the tempered glass screen protector on, and the case allows it to fit perfectly also. It has a raised brim on all sides to be shock proof. 3. how many cards? The case can fit 3 cards very comfortably. I put my student ID, license, and credit card in. If you were to put another thinner card in, i.e. a coffee punch card or metro card, I believe it will fit as well. The case does not influence my credit card chip to stop working, if that’s your concern. 4. other functions? The case can be folded in different shapes to prop your phone up if you are watching a show. It’s amazing! Alright, now speaking of the one downside: 1. weight The case, being shock proof and metallic, is somewhat heavy. I have small hands and this is my only complain. It will take some getting used to for me, but I am extremely happy with this case. I used to choose another brand called "Incipio" for phone cases, but Vena surpasses it in terms of design and functionality.
