  1. Not without issues but I really love it so far.

I have always had a wallet case for my phones (I’m a girl and I don’t carry a purse) but I’ve always been worried about cards falling out as the case got stretched out. I was worried about the fact that this only holds 3 or 4 cards but hey, less is more. I now only carry the necessities and with a Plus that’s also a plus. The phone is big enough! The case is sturdy and definitely has some heft to it but I have already received compliments on it. If you don’t put the max number of cards in it you might have to fight a little to get the cards out but the magnet is strong so I’m not worried about them falling out. Who knows how long the battery will last but it has a nice SNAP to it for now. I have to admit that I can’t use the stand function but I may just be an idiot. There’s a tiny piece of paper with diagrams but I wish they would put a little more effort into it and give actual instruction or tips/tricks to make it work. I don’t use my phone often as a screen, I have an iPad for that, but it would be nice to be able to figure that out one day.

  2. Love this Case over Wallet Cases
    Rating
    100%
I read all the comments before making this purchase. I am a wallet case carrier for several years. I thought I would try this case since I had purchased another wallet case but had to send it back. Well I absolutely love this case. Reviews said it is HEAVY. Yes, it is heavy if you aren’t used to carrying a wallet case, but the case is no thicker or heavier than wallet cases that I had used. MUST: You definitely need to order a tempered glass screen protector for your phone. CARD SLOT (Leather flap has STRONG magnet): One comment on putting your cards in the slot provided are that the cards are not meant to be shoved all the way into the slot. Meaning to the opposite side of the phone. I did that and then I had a hard time getting them out. I have 3 cards (2 with raised letters, 1 w/o) and my driver’s licence which I faced upright and with the top side of the card going in first. That way you don’t have to remove your license when showing your ID. Ingenious! I also have a small cloth to clean the screen. OCD kicking in. No bulge and fits nicely. Easy to remove the cards if you use your thumb or finger in the small cut out provided and just a little push down and slide. The cards just pop right out. CAMERA: The cutout for the camera and flash are very substantial. It would be difficult to break any part of those pieces. As far as picture quality, There is no affect whatsoever. I like that the entire phone is encased for protection and that no one knows that you are carrying cards, cash, etc. I haven’t dropped it yet, but I am confident that it would survive a drop or at least I’m hoping. For those of you that have used a case only, you will find this heavy, but the trade off of having a place for cards and cash is well worth it. I have only had this case for 2 days couldn’t be happier. There were some concerns about the lip of the case on the screen side and I can see that it could be a little higher. I am now interested in purchasing the magnet that fits in the CD player slot that will hold my phone in the car. I’m still reading comments on that.

  3. If Darth Vader had a phone case...
    Rating

This case has a very attractive futurist look. If Darth Vader had a case for his Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus, then this one might be it! I have it in silver and black, so it has even more of a machine like look. In fact, I got a complement the very first time I pulled it out to pay at Sprouts market. The stand feature works well for viewing video at multiple angles in landscape. No portrait stand though. The wallet is very slick! No one can even tell that it is a wallet until you peel back the secret flap. It easily holds 3 cards and it is easy to pull them out when needed. It is not really practical for carrying cash. One could probably fold a couple of bills and tuck it in there with maybe one card. But no dedicated cash slot. The flap has very string magnets that seem like they will hold up well. The quality of the build is very high. The materials feel very strong and high grade. My iPhone fits very snug and secure in the case, with a generous lip around the screen. I am using without a screen protector, as I feel the lip should protect well if dropped. I would have given this case 5 stars if it weren’t for one thing. It is a bit on the heavy and bulky side. I am a man with very large hands, yet I find the weight and size to be a slight challenge to hold. It is too thick to sit in my front pocket because of the massive bulge. As a matter of fact, it does not like pockets at all! I can put it in my back pocket, but I don’t like doing that. I only have one pocket on my Northface jacket that it fits well in. Otherwise, I find myself hand holding it a lot. Did I mention that it adds tremendous weight to the phone? I have gotten used to it, but I just wish the materials were lighter. To give you an idea, the hidden wallet portion adds almost double to the size of the phone in depth. Because of the hidden compartment nature of this phone, I’m not sure if this could have been avoided while still providing 3 card slots. So I can’t fault the designers for their efforts. I will continue to use this case, but I did have to purchase a couple of lighter cases, one thinner leather folio wallet and one ultra thin minimalist case. Now I can choose when I want to go lighter. If you have ever had a Mophie or Otterbox case, then this case is no bulkier nor heavier than those cases. Update: Apple Pay works perfectly with case on. If you can handle the size and weight, then you will be extremely happy with this very sleak, slick, and tricked out phone case.

  4. Excellent Case for The Features & Price!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I’ve been carrying the Wally by Distill Unions Distil Union - Wally Wallet Case for iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus (Black/Black) with the iPhone 6 Plus and loved the convenience of it and really have zero negative things to say about the Wally Case. When I upgraded to the 7 Plus I decided to look around and see what other wallet case options there were and came across the vCommuter and decided to try it out. I must say that I am glad I found this case. The price tag alone makes this case vs. the Wally and other similar ones a great but, but the features really make it a winner amongst other wallet case options. Unlike several other options the cards aren’t visible or only held in a pouch. The product info claims that it will hold up to 3 cards but I was able to get 3 credit/debit cards, a gift card, my drivers license, cash, and a business card inside. The kickstand on this case allows for multiple viewing angles. Overall the protection on this is nice while having a fairly low-profile.

  5. Good Case
    Rating

I previously had a similar case for my iPhone 6 Plus that had a sliding opening on the back to hold credit cards. When I upgraded my phone to the iPhone 7 Plus I decided to try this style. I’ve only owned this case a week but so far I prefer it to the other style. The way the credit card area is designed on this one makes it easier for removal and insertion of the cards. I have concerns about the durability of the back cover and will update this review if it fails. So far I give the case five stars and would definitely buy it again and recommend it. Pros: – The case is attractive and appears well-made. – The case is sized correctly to hold an iPhone 7 Plus. – The bottom of the case has slots for the speakers and lightning plug (the lightning plug opening does not interfere with a standard cable). – There is a slot on the left side of the case to allow access to the ring/silent switch. – There are tabs covering the volume up/down and on/off buttons allowing them to be easily pressed. – The case provides protection for the back and all four sides of the iPhone. – The front of the case has a lip deep enough to keep the iPhone’s screen above the surface when the phone is set face down (but I would recommend a screen protector be used too). – The opening for the camera and flash on the backside does not obstruct the camera or flash. – On the back there is a slot that can hold up to three credit cards and/or ATM cards and/or drivers license (note: it is not sized to fit business cards). – The shape of the card slot makes insertion and removal of the cards easy and convenient. – A magnetic cover on the backside keeps the cards out of view. – The back cover doubles as an adjustable multi-angle stand. – The back cover is vinyl covered metal and allows the case to be used with a magnetic cell phone holder. – When set face up the back of the case is sufficiently nonslip to allow operation of the phone without it sliding. – Though not intended for this purpose inside the case there is a space that can hold a rolled up dollar (or $10 or $20 etc.) bill (I find it convenient to put a rolled up $20 bill there in case of "emergencies"). Cons: – The case doubles the thickness of the iPhone. – The case (and cards) nearly doubles the weight of the iPhone. – The case must be removed if you want to put your iPhone into a charging stand. – A screen protector is not included with the case.

  6. The best kickstand / credit-card case I have used
    Rating
    80%
This is now my favorite case for my iPhone 7 Plus. I had previously purchased multiple cases for my iPhone 6 Plus and now 7 Plus, including one other case that also stored a couple of credit-cards, but this case had two features that I wanted. 1) Hold a couple of credit cards and 2) Have a built-in stand. Let me first say that this is not a thin case. Actually it’s rather thick (2.5x the thickness of the actual iPhone 7 Plus. At first this might seem like a drawback and I guess, if you want a thin case, it would be, but it feels great in the hand and allows you to keep your wallet at home when going to the beach, the gym, or any other place you may not desire to take your wallet. The case comfortably stores two credit-cards and a drivers license. The credit cards slide in the back after you "peel" away the magnetic folding back cover. Taking the cards out is as easy as sliding them up. The back magnetic cover does worry me in that maybe it might demagnetize my credit-cards. We will see. If it does it still may not be all that bad since most new credit-card swipe machines use the chip instead of the swipe. The case can stand on it’s on thanks to the way the back cover was designed. Just peel back and fold, and the magnet will keep the cover folded at an angle which becomes a stand for the iPhone. You can adjust it to 2 viewing angles for watching movies / tv and a 3rd angle for typing. The stand function is so sturdy that it keeps my phone at the perfect angle while driving. I keep it on my middle console between the front seats and it’s so sturdy I find I no longer need a mount for the car. The case offers very good protection for the camera lens and back side of the case and a small raised bezel helps to protect the screen. The front bezel is actually a bit smaller than I am used to with other cases, so I’m not sure if it will protect the front glass as well as others, but again, I am not in the habit of dropping the phone. There are holes on the bottom of the case for the speaker and microphone, but no openings on top for the top speaker. Sound still comes out of the top speaker and it sounds very good, just not as loud as the bottom speaker. The side of the case also has protective buttons that make it easy to turn on/off the phone and raise or lower the volume. I cut out provides access to the mute switch. If you want to a case that can also store a couple of credit cards and drivers license then you’ll absolutely love this case. Despite the thickness it feels comfortable to hold (medium to larger hands) and the kick stand design works great.

  7. Best Wallet Case Ever
    Rating
    100%
I’ve always preferred the wallet cases because I hate wallets. Who carries cash anymore? Anyway, in the past I’ve used the bulky Otterbox Commuter series and a slim card wallet case. This one wins hands down. First, it comfortably fits 3 cards and THEY’RE EASY TO GET IN AND OUT. Usually they get caught on some plastic tab or rubber backing that you end up bending the card or having to use 2 hands to get them out. This case I can take the card out with my thumb. The cover for the wallet part is also very secure, not worried at all about the cards coming out. This case does add weight to the phone, but much less than the Otterbox one. All buttons and ports are accessible. Will keep an eye on this company for future phone upgrades. Nice job!
